“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past,” (Isaiah 43:18, NIV) “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.” (Proverbs 18:21, NKJV) A person’s life in a big way reproduces the fruit of his/her tongue. To speak life is to speak God’s mindset on any issue of life; to speak death is to materialize life’s negatives, to constantly complain or declare defeat.
We are what we think about! Therefore, I pray that we do as the Word of God righteously instructs; Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. Submit to redemption’s provision of power to infuse godliness in us. A power (Holy Spirit’s ability) that transforms our thoughts, dictate our actions, formulate our character, and sculptures life (the very image of Jesus) that zero in on destiny.
